Riva degli Albogatti is  Lucca’s city farm placed within Serchio’s river basin.
The farm is accessible by foot or by bike and all the structures and activities are accessible to handicapped or disabled people.

The farm is organized with an exhibition room, a room used to silkworm growing, a kitchen with a wood stove, an office and a small library with publications on the environment.

Outside the building we can find a recreational park, a didactic path to discover river’s wildlife, and soon there will be a large vegetable garden and an orchard.

The city farm welcomes schools, organisations, groups and people who wont to known and discover the environment, life-cycle and sustainable development.
